An all too familiar scene for the Sox in September. (AP Photo)
There will be no statistical analysis. There will be no finger pointing. There won't be much of anything from me today - just silent mourning and frozen disappointment. I don't like it when the baseball season ends.

I went to bed last night during the rain delay, thinking we pretty much had this wrapped up. I feel like the baseball gods are punishing me for not sticking it out all night.

hoping that disappointment can lead to happiness..
2003 ended painfully, 2004 was great.
Bruins two years ago epic collapse, this past year turned out ok..
hoping that trend will continue next year for the Sox.. (oh man.. I just said waiting till next year when talking about the red sox)

Hang in there, Derek. I'm in mourning too, along with millions of the other Faithful.
Like yourself, I will go to my grave being a Sox fan. I'll always look at the 2004 and 2007 with tons of pride.
Keep the Faith. Always.
P.S. I'm dreading my Trivia Night on Tuesday, as I can just imagine what some of the team names will be.
