
The Josh Beckett Foundation has done some great work over the years.
Josh Beckett will be throwing strikes of a different kind on August 29th, when he hangs up his cleats and ties on a pair of bowling shoes at the 5th annual Beckett Bowl, a star-studded bowling tournament in the heart of Boston, with all proceeds benefiting the Josh Beckett Foundation and Children’s Hospital Boston.
The Beckett Bowl has continuously attracted some of Boston’s top professional athletes and celebrities, including Beckett’s Red Sox teammates Jacoby Ellsbury, Jonathan Papelbon, Kevin Youkilis, Jon Lester, David Ortiz, Jason Varitek, Clay Buchholz, and Tim Wakefield
Also in attendence will be Adrian Grenier from HBO’s Entourage, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels from Run DMC, actor Verne Troyer (aka “Mini-Me”), country music stars Pat Green and Jason Aldean, along with Paul Pierce, Big Baby, Patrice Bergeron, Milan Lucic, Randy Moss, Wes Welker, Steve Gostkowski, among many more great guests.
