Props to Krazy Kris for finding this - while I'm still forming my thoughts on what the Yankee World Series victory means to me, Bill Burr pretty much hits it out of the park when discussing the sad state that baseball is lowering itself into, throwing both the Yankees and Red Sox deservedly underneath the bus. His focus on Eric Gagne is a little weak, but still, pretty damn funny.

Peeing your pants FUNNY!

@Faiaz - you do realize he was making fun of the Sox & Yanks right? Sensitive...

Oh please, Burr's a Sox fan. I'm sure IF the Sox won the World Series this year he would not joke about them like he did about the Yankees.

All I'm saying is you Yankee fans are WAY more sensitive than you used to be - so fricken' what if a comedian is making light of you winning it all, you still won it all right? Relax and enjoy it - after-all, the Curse of the A-Rod has been lifted like a dark veil.

I'm not sensitive, just pointing out a typical biased comedy routine from a comedian who's a Redsox fan.

While I do agree that it IS a typical biased comedy routine by a Sox fan... (I'm waiting for Dennis Leary's take.. that should be entertaining) This was very funny. The only reason some of us Yankee fans are more sensitive is that we honestly dont know how to react. First we get brutally made fun of for not winning, then we get nailed for winning. it's like lose - lose. So all we can do is react. That being said... at LEAST he agrees with what I've been saying for years, that the Sox followed us off the cliff. Because thats very true. It always gets me when a Sox fan makes fun of our payroll, as if yours is 70million. Royals or Pirates fans can get away with that one, but not Sox fans anyway. But before I read Faiaz's comment... I was just gonna say funny! I've already forgoten about 27 and have my eyes fixed on April. Quest for Dos Ocho!

You have a great sports blog here. This is my first time visiting but I'm liking it! I have two sports blogs myself. We need to stick together. I'd like us to exchange links to help spread some traffic around to each other.
Let me know if this is possible.
