Last nights contest started off like a hurricane - however, ended like a breeze, as the Red Sox blew away the Cleveland Indians 11-6 in the Fens. The night started off with some some trepidation as Josh Beckett was once again looking very human on the mound. Josh settled down all right enough, however - I have to admit, I'm not going to be overly confident when he takes the mound next against the Angels. He's been giving up a lot of hits, and just does not look like the Josh Beckett we saw in the first half, and is suspiciously looking eerily similar to how he did last year heading into the playoffs. Servicable - but nowhere near the dominance we've come to expect out of the right hander from Texas.
Sox wrap-up another successful season today and then the real season begins again, and it's about time.
"the real season begins again" You've gotten quite used to success. You are starting to sound like a Yankee fan, where we are used to making it every year. I wish you luck against the Halo's... because I really do want to play the Sox. Badly. (Of course we need to dispatch the Twinks or the Tigers... but if that doesn't happen.. I might just give up and move to Canada) So barring that disaster from happening... I want CC vs Lester - Game 1 in the Bronx. We have some unsettled business. 0-8 seems like last decade.. or is it just me? :) ;) On a separate note... how great is this 1 game playoff in the Dome? I mean of course from your perspective it prob sucks cus of the fact it advantages the Yanks so much, but barring that... you gotta admit it's pretty RAD.

I'd say making to playoffs six out of seven years has made me used to it, and no matter what fan you are there's no denying playoff baseball is...well, the best.
I am not hoping for a Sox/Yanks ALCS because I don't know if my nerves or liver can handle it, lol - plus the Yanks put the fear in me more than any other team.
And...one game playoff = All the way Rad.
