MoMannyMoneyMix by AlienAtari - (Zac Trainor Illustration)
With Manny Ramirez being back in the forefront of baseball news, it seems more then appropriate to re-post the "Mo Manny Money Mix" by the multi-talented Zac Trainor. The song is pretty damn hilarious, good, and is a SawxBlog exclusive. The whole bad man chorus now seems to take on a whole new meaning for Red Sox fans. Enjoy, and let us know what you think.
Hah ha, this is great.

"Let your hate go, Luke"
Seriously Derek - your obsession with Manny is starting to worry me. You're not gonna start drunk-calling him, are you?
Manny is what he is, and anything you say about the Dodgers kind of applies to the Red Sox when they acquired him. Also, let me point out that - as much as Manny supposedly hated Boston - he had some pretty impressive years here. I don't want to seem like a Manny apologist - I certainly think Manny has his share of flaws. But I never believed that the Sox's hands are totally clean in all this. I think the Sox organization and the environment the Red Sox play in, with the insane fans and asshole sports writers obsessing publicly over every minor detail of the player's lives probably takes a very special kind of personality, and not one that Manny had nor wanted to have.
I'm not entirely sure I can blame him for that. There are other things he did very badly, but I'm not so sure I'd want to lead that kind of life either.

I think Manny had the Red Sox hand cuffed the last few years, he was always in the position of power. Management had to bend to his ways some because of the money they had invested in him, and because they knew he was the type of player to lay down when unhappy. Manny's selfish, always was, always will be, it's just sad he's tainted his legacy. But here I go.....must .......stop......writing.......about.......Manny.
lol.
