Please forgive me for taking a moment to step away from your regularly scheduled Red Sox/Sports blogging to let you know I've officially launched another website of mine over the weekend. While sports and the Red Sox are big loves of mine, music heavily rivals, if not exceeds not exceeds, that love. I like to think of them as being symbiotic, living together in a world of harmony though.
What is Visions of the Unexcused you ask? It's a podcast I started back in November that has sustained and now is morphing into a music blog with a podcast as its backbone and spine. There's already 16+ episode to download and catch up on, and I'll also be reviewing albums and live shows both in Boston and around.
In short if you like SawxBlog and the Red Sox, and you also like music, then I think it may be a good fit for ya', at the least check it out and let me know what you think. The music is everything from indie rock to hip-hop to elctronic to classic rock to local. The show originated back in 1999 while I was in college and has just recently been revived.
So yeah, go check it out, and I promise, my shamless self promotion is now over....for now!
