You can't blame Manny Ramirez for the Red Sox losing last night in Seattle. Manny helped bring the Red Sox back from the dead with a three run sixth inning homer run to right field. The blast leaves Manny just one home run short of historic number 500 which truly is a number to be proud of. Manny not only helped with his bat, but he also had some "nifty" plays out in left.
Love him or hate him, whenever Manny's done playing in Boston it's sure going to be a whole lot more boring to watch the games. You can tell he just love to be out there competing, and his Hall of Fame resume is consistently building.
It was a tough way to lose last night, but we honestly never really seemed in it, and if we won it would have felt like we stole the game. The biggest note of concern right now for me isn't even Dice-K and his "shoulder fatigue" but it's the Red Sox seemingly inability to consistently win games on the road. They have an excellent mark when at Fenway (21-5) however once they're away from the Emerald City they're a bad team. They're currently seven games under .500 while playing on the road (11-18) and it's a trend you hope not to see grow.
Go Celtics!

So, Manny goes for 500 tonight with Timmy on the mound, it should be a good game. The more important thing though is that the Sox need the win. We really need to have a winning record on this road trip. Manny for 500 tonight. Wake with the win. It'll be a good night.
