Well the 2007 playoffs got off with a bang last night as the Colorado Rockies outlasted the San Diego Padres 9-8 in a 13 inning thriller. I missed most of the game because I was a little pre-occupied with watching the New England Patriots completely dismantle yet another NFL team in Cincinnati, however from watching the end of the game as well as the replays, it looks like I missed an instant classic. If this is any indication of what the 2007 playoffs have in store for us then we're in for a good one.
Part of the fun about having your team in the playoffs is the anticipation that eats at you like Christmas Eve the days leading up to the series kickoff. I've always found it fun to not only check in on my normal sites for info, but also checking out what the national media and opposing team's cities have to say about the series.
