Hideki Okajima is So Good! So Good! So Good!

What a game, and what a win by the Sox! More to come in the morning, but I have to say the following three things tonight:
- Curt Schilling wasn't amazing, but he was effective as hell. Big Game Curt came through.
- Hideki Okajima is the steal of the year. I need to know how to say stud in Japanese. Absolutely amazing game by him.
- The Red Sox patience is very. very impressive. The pitches they see per plate appearance, and the discipline they show helped them win this 2-1 ballgame.
Like I said, more tomorrow, for now, get some sleep Red Sox Nation. Two more games...

Here ya go....I got in touch with a buddy in Japan...the translation for a stud, or stud horse, is taneuma. Enjoy.

Yeah, but if you said, "Taneuma!" to Okajima or any other Japanese person, he would look at you with one eyebrow raised. You're better off with "ei-yoo" meaning "hero." He was sooooooooo awesome last night! So proud to be Japanese right now.

Wow, that is some good stuff guys :-)
I'm sure if I called Oki a a horse stud he'd take numerous steps backwards, ha hah.
ei-yoo works well too, hopefully I'm using that phrase after Dice-K's Game 3 start.
