A couple of weeks ago when I was traveling Ecuador I often found myself without internet, T.V, or American papers and those times I found myself putting down my Hemingway and picking up a copy of the Maple Street Press Red Sox Annual 2007. This help me semi-cure my baseball fix needs, and also schooled me on some things Red Sox I was not aware of.
This may seem a little late to write a review on an annual as we're already about 1/3 of the way through the season, however the Maple Street Press Red Sox Annual 2007 isn't a normal type of annual. This is an annual that is made in conjunction with the famous Sons Of Sam Horn Red Sox message board and Red Sox minded people alike, and it shows.
There's a lot of cool facts you wouldn't know otherwise like how the playing of "Dirty Water" came to be at Fenway Park after Red Sox victories and great insight into the players on the team. There's also a 40 year reflection on the 1967 impossible dream season which is certainly worth the read.
All in all this is an annual that could interest even the most hardcore of Red Sox fans, and one I hope to read for seasons to come.
Overall: 8/10

Yeah it's pretty decent, a good coffee table book for the summer at the least.
