Well it look like Manny's days in Boston may really be up, well, at least his days living in the Ritz-Carlton. Manny's $6.9 million "summer home" atop the penthouse 37th floor of the Ritz-Carlton Towers is officially up for sale. You can view the property along with photos and also take a virtual tour here. The property is being sold by Boston Realty Advisors, and a spokesperson for them was on WEEI this morning talking about the house. You can also check out an article written on Manny Jr's room here.
Manny's currently in Brazil and it is well known that he does not want to return to Boston next season. Whether the sluggers wish is to be granted is yet to be known with his expensive contract being the main factor in a no deal. This is the most blatant sign yet that Manny's serious and it shouldn't be a surprise to hear his name mentioned a lot during the next few weeks. I for one don't want to see him leave for his bat is just too valuable to leave, I feel like any deal that the Sox would get would come up short unless it's a blockbuster. Looks like Ortiz knew what he was talking about.
